74-Year-Old Daycare Operator Charged With Sexual Abuse

Are your children safe at daycare? This week a 74-year-old daycare operator was charged with first-degree sexual abuse of several girls who attended his childcare center. The man, Robert Eugene Frost, was brought in by police around 5 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2010. The man ran Christian's Day Care and Learning Academy.

Police say that an investigation on Frost began last week after a parent called in with a complaint of abuse and molestation. Two 5-year-old girls are the alleged victims in this daycare sexual abuse case.

Frost is being held without bond, but the daycare center remains open and running. Workers who were caring for the estimated 20 children at Christian's Day Care did not comment on the story. It is unclear whether Frost has legal representation at this time.

An investigation will continue as police determine whether there were other daycare abuse victims of Frost, who the children call “Mr. Bob.”
