The TIME to ACT is NOW.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for more than a half a million Generation 2 Worldwide and "ChildESIGNS" drop side cribs. According to a release by the CPSC, the drop side can detach creating a space in which a toddler can roll into or be trapped, creating a risk of suffocation or strangulation.
The CPSC has reported that at least three infants have died as the result of these faulty cribs. In addition to these tragic deaths, the CPSC has reported at least 20 separate incidents of the drop side becoming detached resulting in injuries to children, including a broken arm for one child.

These crib recalls are yet another tragic reminder of how fragile an infant's life is and just how easily they can be injured or killed. A faulty crib, highchair or toy could all injure or kill your child. Because of this, it is important to stay up to date with all current recalls involving your child's products. It is also important to NEVER try and repair a defective product on your own. Always adhere to recall notifications.
Unfortunately, many product defects are not caught before it is too late. Although products go through safety and durability tests, not all issues are discovered until a child or infant is injured, or worse, killed. If you or someone you know has a child or infant that has been injured or killed by a defective and dangerous product, the law allows for damages to victims and their families at the expense of the manufacturer.
