Dallas Boy Saved From Pit Bull Dog Attack By Local Handyman

A Corsicana handyman is being hailed as a hero after he jumped a locked gate with a broom in order to fight off two pit bulls that were attacking an 8-year-old boy. The man successfully fought off the two aggressive dogs until help arrives to rush the young boy to a Dallas hospital for treatment.

According to witnesses, the boy entered into a neighbor’s yard in order to retrieve a ball when two dogs viciously attacked him. When a worker near by heard the screams of children, he turned to corner to see the boy struggling for his life.

The dogs involved in the animal attack have been quarantined and their health records are being checked. The Texas dog bite investigation is continuing, and officers are not sure whether or not any charges will be filed against the dogs’ owner. The 8-year-old boy is still in the hospital recovering from his dog bite wounds.
