We are proud to announce the addition of our newest attorney, Carl Ceder.

"It's exciting to be a part of an aggressive, yet compassionate law firm such as this," said Carl.

A fifth-generation Texan, Carl comes to the firm after quickly making a name for himself as a tenacious criminal defense trial lawyer practicing in Austin and the surrounding counties.

"I went into the legal profession because I wanted to have the opportunity to help individuals and make a difference in their lives," Carl said when asked about his decision to become a lawyer.

A native of Austin, Carl naturally chose to attend the University of Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management in less than four years.  After a two year stint as a financial analyst, Carl decided to follow his dream and after only three and half years, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in December of 2008.

Carl traveled as a student attorney every semester while participating on Houston's mock trial team; participating in such prestigious competitions as the Law Center at the America Association for Justice (AAJ) National Student Trial Advocacy Competition, and the Tournament of Champions Trial Competition hosted by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) in Denver, Colorado. 

"Both criminal and personal injury law give me an opportunity to follow my dream of helping people, even if that means taking every case to trial," said Carl. "I look forward to trying personal injury cases while also giving the firm the opportunity to try criminal defense cases that we all feel strongly about."

The son of a former Texas High head football coach, Carl is an avid football fan, athlete and certified master diver.

"I believe many of these same fundamentals that have lead to success in sports, also apply to winning in the courtroom," said Carl. "Discipline, work ethic and preparation can always be applied to whatever it is that you are doing in your life." 

This dedication and work ethic have quickly made Carl a force in the courtroom, and will make him an asset to the Rasansky Law Firm for years to come.
