It was a bad day for the occupants of a stolen SUV in Arlington, Texas last week on Interstate 30. Arlington Police say that three teens who stole an SUV on Monday were trapped in the vehicle after an 18-wheeler on I-30 jackknifed and landed on the SUV. One teen was able to escape the car, while the two others waited an hour as rescue workers tried to get to the boys. One of the teens was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he later died, while another teen suffered serious injuries. The third young man tried to flee the scene of the
TX truck accident, but was caught, treated on the scene, and arrested for car theft. The
driver of the truck has serious injuries but is now in stable condition.
It is not clear what caused the Texas truck accident, though Arlington Police are investigating the fatal
TX truck wreck.
