Daycare Abuse Attorney | Paul Dunbar Learning Center Death
2-Year-Old's Death a Sad Reminder of Daycare Abuse
Dallas Police are investigating the heart-wrenching death of a 2-year-old child, Sir Anthony Smith who was left alone inside a daycare van for approximately six hours.
The child was discovered around 2 P.M. when schoolchildren were loading into the private daycare van in the Paul Dunbar Learning Center parking lot. Temperatures reached a high of 94 degrees.
The van was set to take the children to daycare from the K-5 school located at 4200 Metropolitan Ave.
Although the investigation is ongoing, it is already apparent that no matter what the cause of this tragic death, no child should be left unattended in a van or parking lot any point, much less for several hours.
Regardless of what has caused this poor child's untimely death, it is obvious that there was some form of egregious negligence involved. This has become a real problem in America. Daycare and child care abuse occur on a daily basis and can include a number of different forms such as negligence, physical and sexual abuse and mental abuse.
