Dallas Car Accident Double Fatality - Speeding and Drinking Involved

A young man and young woman are dead near Dallas after their car spun off of a bridge and landed upside down in a creek below. Dallas Police say that 22-year-old Hector Cantu and 27-year-old Annette Aldape were drinking and speeding at the time of the accident, which took place on South Westmoreland Road on the night of Thursday, April 15.

The car flew 20 feet into water – and both occupants died at the scene of the accident. Police say that they have witness testimony that suggests the driver of the car could have been involved in some form of racing in the area hours before the crash took place. Alcohol was also likely a factor in the Dallas car crash, said Dallas Police Lt. Miguel Sarmiento.

The bridge was closed until Friday morning, as rescue crews removed the car from the creek.
