Dallas Tractor-Trailer Accident Leaves Texas Man Dead

Dallas Police are baffled after a man driving a Ford pickup truck slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler without braking on the morning of March 30.

Texas authorities reported that 38-year-old Joseph Sean Rodriguez was driving approximately 100 miles per hour on Walnut Hill Lane in North Dallas when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction. The Dallas truck accident occurred just after 2 am and police are investigating whether or not alcohol could have been involved. Especially since the man did not attempt to slow down or avoid the truck crash.

The truck driver, who said he was shaken over the big rig accident but not injured, said that he felt the impact of the car and pulled over to find the pickup wedged underneath his trailer. Emergency workers rushed Rodriguez to a nearby hospital, but the man died two after the Dallas truck crash.
