An 8-year-old Frisco, Texas child was
struck by a car on his way to school early on Monday. Frisco Police told reporters that the child stepped into traffic at the intersection of Twin Falls Drive and Pleasant Valley Lane and was hit by a southbound vehicle. They do not believe that the car was speeding in the 30 MPH zone and have not filed any charges. The motorist stopped and assisted the boy while waiting for emergency help.
The accident took place a few minutes before 8 am.
The boy suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the
Texas pedestrian accident. He was airlifted to Children’s Medical Center Dallas after being stabilized by the Frisco Fire Department. The boy was on his way to Izetta Sparks Elementary School.
The boy, a minor, was not identified and the details of his
TX pedestrian accident injuries are unknown.
