Methodist Minister Seriously Injured In Bandera Motorcycle Accident

A man riding motorcycles with his son was critically injured on FM 337 in Bandera, Texas. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Everette Boyce Junior, the pastor of United Methodist Church in Bandera, lost control of his motorcycle and swerved into a ditch off of the right side of the road. He then overcorrected his 2006 Yamaha bike and crashed, landing in the middle of the highway.

When his son, Stephen Saenz, turned around to check on his dad, he was nowhere to be found. Saenz then doubled back and found his father lying in the road. Emergency responders airlifted the injured rider to University Hospital in San Antonio. He was treated in the intensive care unit for broken bones, cracked ribs, internal injuries, and back injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the motorcycle accident.

A few days following the TX motorcycle accident, Boyce was reported to be responsive and in stable condition.
