Splendora Woman In Critical Condition After High-Speed Motorcycle Crash

A high-speed police chase involving a stolen motorcycle resulted in a serious injury on Tuesday morning near Cleveland, Texas. Police say that Woodbranch Village police attempted to pull over the motorcycle just after midnight due to an obscured license plate. When the motorcycle did not stop, a police pursuit began.

During the chase, 33-year-old Houston resident Glen Gerald Geanes II drove his bike recklessly with 18-year-old Victoria Parks as his passenger. When the bike was going approximately 120 miles per hour, the woman was ejected from the motorcycle. She was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston’s Texas Medical Center where she remains in critical condition with head and body trauma.

Geanes, who was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries, was found to be riding a stolen motorcycle and carrying a stolen handgun. In addition to possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, and evading police, he could also be facing other charges as well.
