Texas Man Dies In Late Night Dallas Motorcycle Accident

Speed is a factor in far too many Dallas motorcycle accidents – and this was the case on Thursday, April 15, when a man lost his life after speeding on his motorbike on Stemmons Freeway.

According to the Dallas Morning news, 31-year-old Brian Ballew and a friend were driving at around 2 am on Thursday near the Dallas North Tollway and Oak Lawn Avenue exits. When Ballew accelerated through a dangerous curve, he lost control of his bike, crashed into a guardrail, and then flew over the safety structure. Emergency responders declared the man dead at the scene of the Texas motorcycle accident.

Although TX police believe that speed was a factor in the accident, they do not believe that street racing was involved when Ballew crashed his 2003 Suzuki. It is unknown if drinking alcohol played a factor in the deadly Dallas motorcycle accident.
