Wrong Way interstate accidents are more common than you might think. Just this week, a woman driving a Ford pickup truck entered the wrong side of I-30 in Mesquite and
ran into another pickup truck head on. Texas Police say that Dallas resident 45-year-old Mariana Aguilarde-Rodriguez was driving near Big Town Boulevard just before 2 am on Monday when she turned onto the off ramp and headed west on east I-30. The woman, who is suspected of drunk driving, was rushed by emergency workers to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas where she died of her
Dallas truck accident injuries. The two people in the truck that she hit were seriously injured but are not in critical condition.
There are a number of reasons for wrong way interstate accidents in Texas. Some are caused by
drinking and driving while others are caused by poor signage, poor road design, or confusion.
