Rasansky Law Firm Attorney Jeremi Young has been
singled out as a "Texas Rising Star" by Texas Monthly
magazine. Rising Stars are chosen from nominations made by lawyers
throughout Texas.
Jeremi concentrates his practice on representing
individuals in catastrophic personal injury cases, complex business
litigation, employment litigation, and wage-and-hour claims.
“We’re extremely proud to see Jeremi
receive this honor two years in a row,” says Jeff Rasansky,
founder of the affiliate firm, The Rasansky Law Firm in Dallas. “His
legal abilities are well-known in the legal community, and we are
happy to see other lawyers recognizing his good work on behalf
of clients.”
Recently, Jeremi has received national media attention
following a favorable ruling
from the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a case involving an 11-year-old
boy with cerebral palsy. In the decision, the Wisconsin high court
ruled that there is no
statute of limitations for claims against health care providers
in cases involving developmentally disabled children.
In June of 2005, Jeremi opened the office of Rasansky & Young,
P.C. in Amarillo an affiliate of The Rasansky Law Firm.
A panhandle native, Mr. Young graduated from
Texas Tech University in Lubbock before earning his law degree
from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin.
Rising Stars are the top up-and-coming Texas
attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been in practice fewer
than 10 years.
This year’s Rising Stars are being honored
in the March issue of Texas Monthly. They are profiled in the current
issue of Texas Rising Stars, a publication co-produced by the publishers
of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media, Inc.
