The 97 victims span 23 states including: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada (1), New Jersey (1), New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Agromod Produce, Inc has recalled the following brands of papayas produced after January 1st of this year: Yaya, Mananita, Tastylicious, and Blondie.
