Euless Bicycle Rider Critically Injured By Alleged Drunk Driver
Posted on Nov 29, 2011
A Dallas man remains in critical condition following a car-bike collision in Texas on Sunday evening.
According to the Star-Telegram, 24-year-old Anthony Jamal Miles was riding his bike on West Euless Boulevard in Euless when he was struck by an alleged drunk driver at approximately 6:30 p.m. The woman who hit the cyclist, 30-year-old Bryany Ruth Hildreth of Euless stopped her sports utility vehicle after hitting the man and immediately called for help.
Miles remained unidentified for days after the accident until local police released a picture of the injured bike rider in hopes of finding his family. In the picture, Miles appears severely injured: he is unconscious and hooked to a breathing machine at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Hildreth has been charged by police with intoxication and assault and has been released on bail. It is unclear what her blood alcohol content was at the time of the Texas car accident or if anyone else was present in the SUV.
The Dallas traffic accident attorneys at Rasansky Law Firm are keeping Anthony Jamal Miles in our thoughts and hope for a fast and complete recovery.
