Fort Worth Teen Killed When Car Crashes into Loving Avenue Home
Posted on Dec 11, 2011
One teen is dead and three others are injured after a car driving on Loving Avenue in Fort Worth lost control and crashed into a home. Texas authorities believe that speed and poor weather conditions may have played a roll in the fatal vehicle accident.
Fort Worth news sources report that a 19-year-old driver clipped a minivan, hit a truck, and then rolled into a home’s garage that had been converted into a bedroom. The Texas car accident took place at just past one in the morning on Saturday.
Although the car demolished the garage, the woman sleeping inside was not hurt. One passenger in the car, 17-year-old Christian Hernandez, was killed in the accident, while two other passengers, a 15-year-old and a 12-year-old, suffered injuries in the wreck and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The owner of the home that was struck, Jose Morales, reported that it seemed that the car was speeding in the moments before the crash. Texas police confirmed that the accident was under investigation and that the driver of the vehicle could face criminal charges – though they added that the roads were slick at the time of the crash.
The Dallas personal injury attorneys at Rasansky Law Firm send their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the teen who lost his life, as well as those who were harmed in the accident.
