Orphaned Houston Car Crash Survivors Choose TX Accident Attorney
Posted on Nov 19, 2011
The legal guardians of the three orphaned Berry children have chosen a Houston accident attorney to represent the three kids and investigate the cause of the tragic vehicle accident that took the lives of their parents.
In July, 40-year-old Robin and 41-year-old Joshua Berry were driving toward Houston with their three children after a road trip when their minivan was struck by an SUV driven by a man looking for a DVD on the floor of his vehicle. Both parents were killed in accident, which left nine-year-old Peter and eight-year-old Aaron paralyzed. The youngest child, six-year-old Willa, broke her arm and leg in the crash.
The children's aunt and uncle have retained a Texas products liability lawyer to investigate the accident and whether or not a defect in the Berry's minivan caused the tragic loss of life. The attorney, who has also worked on other notable traffic accident lawsuits throughout the state, says that his crash investigation will take about 30 days. In addition, he is working on a wrongful death lawsuit regarding the distracted driver of the SUV, taking on the latter case pro bono.
The accident attorneys at Rasansky Law Firm have the Berry children - and all of those involved in the crash - in our thoughts and prayers.
