ANDREWS, TX (12/06/2014) — A multi-vehicle accident Saturday night on Texas Highway 176 near Andrews, TX has left three people dead and one hospitalized.

According to reports, 32-year-old Steven Michael Bolton was driving south on Farm to Market Road 1788 when he failed to obey a stop sign at the intersection of Texas Highway 176 and FM 1788. As Mr. Bolton’s Jeep entered the highway, it was struck by a westbound pickup truck. Both vehicles were then struck by an eastbound 18-wheeler truck.

43-year-old Douglas Patrick Irwin (who was driving the pickup truck) and his son, 15-year-old Marcus Irwin, were killed in the crash. The driver of the Jeep, 32-year-old Steven Michael Bolton (of El Paso) was also killed. The driver of the 18-wheeler, 47-year-old Allan Carlton Warren (of Andrews) was injured and transported to Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews. He is reportedly listed in stable condition. Officials say that all three decedents were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.
