One of the involved parties was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by responding emergency crews. A total of four ambulances were dispatched to the scene. A total of five people were involved in the accident.
The extricated party was taken to ATCEMS at St. David’s Round Rock for treatment of serious injuries. Two others were declared as trauma alerts and also transported to the medical facility. Two other parties refused treatment. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
