Copperas Cove, TX - Three Injured in Head-on Crash on TX-9

Copperas Cove, TX (March 5, 2024) - On Saturday, March 2, three people were hurt after a head-on collision in the Copperas Cove area. The accident occurred on TX-9 late that night at around 11:55 p.m. Local reports revealed that a Honda Scion driven by a 24-year-old Killeen resident was headed eastbound as an Audi driven by a 19-year-old was traveling west. 

Local reports revealed that the Honda failed to maintain a single lane and collided head-on with the oncoming Audi. Both drivers suffered incapacitating injuries. A female passenger in the Audi was taken to the Baylor Scott & White emergency room for treatment of sustained injuries.

It was later revealed that both drivers showed signs of impairment. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
