The deadly accident took place at the intersection of TX-359 and Riata Road at around 9:30 p.m. An eastbound semi-truck was traveling in the outer lane when it hit the pedestrian. The trucker stopped to aid the injured party and contacted emergency responders.
The victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information has been provided at this time.
