The fatal accident took place on TX-302 in Ector County at around 6:11 a.m. It was reported that a 60-year-old Odessa man was headed westbound in a 2019 Mack truck with a trailer while a 42-year-old Alabama man was also traveling west in a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup truck. The driver of the pickup reportedly crashed into the trailer of the Mack truck. 

The Alabama man suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. No additional information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
