The deadly accident was reported at around 3:17 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 1774 near Highway 105 as a motorcyclist collided with a tractor-trailer. The 25-year-old Iola man riding the bike suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The person operating the 18-wheeler was not injured. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in progress.
