Mansfield, TX - Woman Fatally Hit by Truck on S Cooper St

The deadly incident took place on Interstate 35 SB near Benton City Road at around 10 p.m. It was reported that an undocumented immigrant was riding on the back of a big rig when they fell from the truck. The man suffered fatal injuries and was instantly killed. 

Authorities were called to the scene, and the victim’s body was found on the back portion of the cab. The driver of the rig was questioned by authorities, and they may be facing charges related to the incident. 

No other injuries have been reported at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in the hands of local authorities, and more information will be released as it continues.
