Abbott, TX – One Person Killed in Truck Accident on I-35

Abbott, TX (July 7, 2020) – An accident involving a semi-truck tractor-trailer on Monday evening claimed one victim's life in Hill County, according to reports. At approximately 7 p.m., on July 6, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported to the site of a collision on Interstate 35.

Reports from DPS show that a Hyundai Accent was traveling on the northbound side of the intersection when the vehicle collided with a semi-truck near mile marker 359. The driver of the Hyundai sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately declared deceased. At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
