Alvin, TX (October 18, 2020) – One teen lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on Friday morning. At approximately 7 a.m., on October 16, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Davis Bend Road.
Reports show that a 16-year-old boy from the Alvin Independent School District was riding a bicycle on Davis Bend Road near Owen Street when he was struck by a southbound sedan.
The teen was critically injured in the crash. Emergency crews rendered aid to the victim at the scene and rushed him to a nearby hospital. After arriving, the teen succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway with the police in Alvin.
