Bryan, TX – Driver Injured in Crash on TX-6 (Earl Rudder Freeway)

Bryan, TX (July 31, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Thursday evening left one person seriously injured. On July 30, police and emergency crews in Bryan were called to the scene of a collision on Texas State Highway 6.

Reports provided by authorities show that a pickup truck was driving down Texas State Highway 6, near the Davila Middle School, when an SUV made an improper lane change and swiped the vehicle near the Texas Avenue split. The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to roll over around eight times, ejecting the driver.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained critical injuries in the crash. He was rushed to an area hospital with a broken back, several broken ribs, and several contusions in his lungs. Family members informed local news sources that the victim may be paralyzed from their injuries. At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
