Bryan, TX (March 1, 2020) – A major motor vehicle accident on Saturday morning claimed one victim’s life.
On February 29, at around 5 a.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Briarcrest Drive. Reports indicate that a Camaro and a GMC pickup truck collided along Briarcrest Drive at the intersection with 29th Street after a driver ran a red light. The impact of the collision caused the GMC to roll over and the Camaro to bounce into a Buick Verano.
A passenger inside the Camaro, who was identified as 27-year-old James Ragsdale, was fatally injured in the collision.
Two people inside the pickup truck were seriously injured and rushed to area hospitals for treatment. The driver of the Buick was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
21-year-old Colton Bradley was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter as well as intoxication assault.
Police are currently investigating.
