Dallas, TX – Thomas Johnson Struck & Killed by Vehicle on Lake June Rd

Dallas, TX (July 22, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Monday evening claimed one man’s life in the Dallas area. At approximately 8:45 p.m., on July 20, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 10400 block of Lake June Road.

Reports provided by the Dallas Police Department show that 61-year-old Thomas Johnson was walking south across Lake June Road when he was struck by a vehicle. The 30-year-old driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and attempted to render aid to the injured man. Johnson was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigations surrounding the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
