5.11 Spring, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Aldine Westfield Rd

Edgecliff Village, TX (April 5, 2020) – The man critically injured in a hit and run accident late last month has died, according to reports.

At around 10 p.m., on March 24, 78-year-old Salvador Melendez Carcamo was walking along the 6600 block of Village Parkways in the Edgecliff Village when he was struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Carcamo was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

Unfortunately, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Carcamo succumbed to his injuries on April 3.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
