El Paso, TX (March 12, 2020) – A devastating early-morning collision on Wednesday left one person critically injured. On March 11, at around 2:42 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident near the new WestStar Tower.

Reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Mesa Street.

The victim incurred life-threatening injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Special Traffic Investigation team at the El Paso Police Department.
