5.17 Lubbock, TX – Three Injured in County Rd 2000 (Quaker Ave) Crash

Fort Worth, TX (April 5, 2020) – A pedestrian accident on Sunday morning claimed one woman’s life.

At around 2:40 a.m., on April 5, 61-year-old Patricia Blue Gilbert was walking in the 2600 block of Walton Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Gilbert was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries after arriving.

The Fort Worth Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
