George West, TX (May 28, 2020) – A late-night accident on Wednesday resulted in injuries, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
At around 9 p.m., on May 27, authorities were called to the scene fo a motor vehicle accident on Highway 59.
Reports show that a Mexico charter bus was traveling along the highway when it collided head-on with a Chevy passenger car.
The driver of the Chevy was seriously injured in the crash and airlifted from the scene to Corpus Christi hospital.
One person on the bus was transported to Beeville hospital for treatment of injuries.
Several victims on the bus were provided medical treatment at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
