Houston, TX (January 12, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Houston area claimed the life of one person. At around 8:30 p.m., on January 11, the Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Antoine Drive.
Reports from authorities show that a vehicle collision took place on Antoine Drive at the intersection with West Gulf Bank Road. Authorities confirm that a female was in a verbal altercation at a nearby apartment complex when she fled eastbound on West Gulf Bank Road. As she passed through the intersection at Antoine Drive, her vehicle crashed into a second vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the second vehicle to roll over, ejecting the driver. The woman was then run over by a vehicle.
The victim sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
