Houston, TX – Taylor Jarvis Killed in DUI Crash on Veterans Memorial Dr

Houston, TX (May 26, 2020) – A series of collisions involving a drunk driver claimed two victims’ lives on Monday evening.

At around 9 p.m., on May 25, authorities in Houston were attempting to pull over 31-year-old Alexis Saborit, who was driving impaired. Saborit took off down Veterans Memorial Drive, causing police to follow.

When Saborit reached the 10000 block of the roadway, he crashed 63-year-old Jarvis Taylor, who was riding a bicycle. Eventually, Saborit’s vehicle stopped when he crashed head-on into a Buick driven by a 57-year-old person.

The Buick driver was airlifted to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Taylor was rushed to a local hospital where he passed away from his injuries.

Saborit was seriously injured in the crash and transported to Ben Taub Hospital. At this time, police are investigating.
