Jasper, TX – Abigail Klemcke Injured in Truck Crash on US-96

Jasper, TX (February 3, 2021) – An accident in the Jasper area sent one woman to a local hospital with serious injuries. On February 1, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 96.

Reports from authorities show that 26-year-old Abigail Klemcke was traveling north on US Highway 96 in a 2014 Chevrolet SUV when her vehicle collided with a 20121 Mack tractor-trailer truck.

Klemcke was injured in the accident. EMS transported the injured woman to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital for the treatment of injuries. The driver of the Mack truck was not injured. At this time, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
