Jonestown, TX (October 1, 2020) – An accident reported on Monday left three people injured. On September 28, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a crash off Ranch Road 1431 (Farm to Market Road 1431).
Reports show that a single-engine Beechcraft BE 36 Bonanza was traveling just three miles south of the Rusty Allen Airport in Lago Vista, with three passengers on board, when it crashed.
Three people were injured in this accident. Medical personnel was able to remove one person from the plane quickly and rush them to an area hospital for treatment. Two other patients, one of whom was pinned, were removed by firefighters. One victim was transported via STAR Flight to St. David’s Round Rock. The second victim was transported to Dell Seton via STAR Flight helicopter for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration.
