Kaufman, TX (March 30, 2020) – A plane accident on Sunday sadly claimed one victim’s life, according to reports.
At around 3:20 p.m., on March 29, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a plane accident in Kaufman County. Reports indicate that a single-engine P-51D Mustang crashed in the 15000 block of Us Highway 80 with one person onboard. The plane departed from the Mesquite Municipal Airport and crashed for unknown reasons.
Sadly, the pilot on board sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
