Lufkin, TX (May 12, 2020) – At around 9:30 p.m., on May 9, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 94.
Reports show that Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Randall Noe, 45, was outside of his vehicle during a traffic stop, with emergency lights activated, when he was struck by a vehicle passing down the roadway.
Noe was injured in the crash and transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
