Midland County, TX (November 20, 2020) – A vehicle crash in Midland County claimed one person’s life on Wednesday morning. On November 18, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on West County Road 150.
Reports from authorities show that 28-year-old Sloan Sherwood was standing on West County Road 150 when they were struck by a Jeep. The driver of the Jeep, a 62-year-old man from the Corsicana area, pulled over and called for assistance. The driver was not injured in the crash.
When medics arrived at the scene with the Texas Department of Public Safety, they pronounced the victim deceased as a result of his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with troopers at DPS.
