Reports indicate that a vehicle was attempting to exit a driveway in the 1500 block of West 5th Street, near Nassau, when it was struck by a second vehicle, after the first driver failed to yield the right of way.
The female driver of the second vehicle was seriously injured in the crash. She was rushed to Covenant for treatment but was later airlifted to Lubbock.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
