San Antonio, TX (April 3, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Thursday evening left one woman injured.

At around 11 p.m., on April 2, a female pedestrian was walking along Mission Road on the South Side of San Antonio. As the female entered the intersection of Mission Road and Roosevelt Avenue, she was struck by a motor vehicle.

The injured woman was left in the road as the driver fled the scene of the accident. Police arrived shortly after to locate the critically injured female along the side of the road.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating this accident and attempting to locate the driver of the white truck spotted in this accident.
