San Antonio, TX (March 9, 2020) – A pedestrian accident early Sunday morning left one man critically injured.
At around 3:15 a.m., on March 8, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of an auto accident on Bandera Road (TX-421 Spur). Reports indicate that an elderly man was crossing the roadway, in a designated crossing area, near the intersection with Woodlawn Avenue, when a car turned around the corner and struck him.
The pedestrian suffered critical injuries in the crash and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver was arrested on a suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
