San Antonio, TX (November 21, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Friday morning claimed the life of one woman in the San Antonio area. On November 20, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an accident near Thousand Oaks.
Reports from authorities show that 38-year-old Robert Lee Collett, Jr. was driving a pickup truck on US Highway 281 when his vehicle crashed into a white 1995 Honda Civic.
The driver of the Civic, identified as a 61-year-old female, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Collett was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
