San Antonio, TX – Woman Struck & Killed on I-35 Frontage Rd

San Antonio, TX (March 16, 2020)- A devastating pedestrian accident sadly claimed one woman’s life early Sunday. At around 3 a.m., on March 15, the San Antonio Police Department was called to the scene of an auto collision on Interstate 35.

Reports indicate that a female pedestrian was walking down the roadway, near Weidner Road, when she was struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicles fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

A passerby spotted the woman and rushed to the area and called for assistance. Sadly, the woman was declared deceased at the scene.

The SAPD is currently investigating the accident.
