Spring, TX – Two Injured & One Arrested after I-45 Crash

Spring, TX (September 14, 2020) – An accident in the Spring area on Saturday left two people injured and led to the arrest of one person. On September 12, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 45.

Reports provided by authorities show that 20-year-old Jayla Boyd was driving south on Interstate 45 when they crashed into two other vehicles near the intersection with Louetta Road.

Boyd was uninjured in the accident. The drivers of the two other vehicles were both injured. Both victims were treated at the scene for their injuries before paramedics transported an unknown number of injured parties to local hospitals for further assistance.

Boyd was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and evading. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are ongoing.
