Troup, TX – Anselmo Alonzo and Brenda Alonzo Kill in Accident on TX-110

Troup, TX (August 13, 2020) – A crash late Tuesday evening claimed the lives of two victims. At approximately 9:45 p.m., on August 11, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on Texas State Highway 110.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2015 Hyundai Accent was traveling north on Texas State Highway 110 when the vehicle collided with a northbound Kia Optima. Two people inside the Accent, who were identified as 68-year-old Anselmo Alonzo and 68-year-old Brenda Alonzo, were both critically injured in the crash. Both victims were rushed to local hospitals where they later succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the Optima, 20-year-old Dmarea Suing, was treated for minor injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
