El Paso, TX - Pedestrian Killed in Crash at TX-601 & Chaffee Rd

El Paso, TX (February 29, 2024) - On Thursday morning, February 29, a pedestrian was killed following a traffic accident in the El Paso area. The deadly crash occurred on TX-601 near Chaffee Road early that morning at around 6 a.m. The victim was standing on the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities assisted at the crash site. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead.
