Abilene, TX – Keith De La Vega Loses Life in Crash on S 7th St

Abilene, TX (January 25, 2021) – One person has lost their life following an auto accident on Saturday evening in the Abilene area. At around 6 p.m., on January 23, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on South 7th Street.

Reports from authorities show that 31-year-old Keith De La Vega was driving in the 4400 block of South 7th Street in a Kia when his vehicle collided head-on with a black Chevrolet Traverse.

De La Vegas sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet sustained undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the police in Abilene.
